What Are Your Writing Goals For 2021?

I’m not into doing resolutions for the new year. It’s a waste of my time. I do, however, like to make a goal to shoot for, which is pretty much the same idea as a resolution, but whatever.
These are my personal Goals for 2021:

  1. Finish and polish The Seven Deaths of Emily Briggs by April 1st.
  2. Finish and polish Blood On The Sands by May 1st.
  3. Have 6 stories published by paying publishers.

Just to mention some of my writing goals.

  1. Finish editing with Ricky to post those blogs I have for JWC.
  2. Post finished book project of an old rewritten worked project.
  3. Finish my Life Investments book.
Two books are about 10,000 words to 15,000 words or more.

This is a start for now.

My writing goals would be: get back to writing every single day, submit 25+ times (I don’t have a baseline so it will hopefully be more than that, I’ve just submitted twice today), read 50 books, and start writing one novel and one nonfiction book.

I’ve just written the last page of Emily Briggs. It feels good and sad at the same time. Here, I’ve spent 8 1/2 months creating her and her world, and there’s only Editing left to do to her. She’s been with me through this while virus insanity. Maybe getting it finished and out to an agent will make it all go away.

My Reading Goal: 104 books.
